TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE SAN DIEGO AIRPORT NGB's & Rights Holders, US Sports Congress and The San Diego Sports Commission will be scheduling and providing your transport for you after we receive your flight schedule. Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Shuttle service is available at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, at San Diego International Airport. Super Shuttle (800-258-3826) is the preferred provider of airport shuttle service for the US Sports Congress. The rate to the resort is $24.00 each way for a shared shuttle. You can make reservations for the Super Shuttle by visiting: https://www.supershuttle.com/Default.aspx and follow the directions online. FYI When checking prices for taxicabs, we were quoted rates between $76 and $88 each way. From Terminal 1 you must cross the sky bridge, and take either the escalators or the elevators to street level. From Terminal 2, cross the Terminal 2 sky bridge and take either the escalators or the elevators to street level, or use the pedestrian crosswalk conveniently located outside the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim Area to access the Transportation Plaza. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available shuttle, unless you specify a particular shuttle company. |
