Mob Museum/Culinary Outing
Lunch at Project BBQ
Subject to change
Chef Rex Bernales’ Project BBQ is the Fremont Street Experiences’ only permanent food truck and its first Carolina barbecue joint. Relax in the “backyard” while you feast on freshly smoked BBQ, including the signature Garbage Bowl – handmade potato chips smothered in smoked meats, coleslaw, bacon and a trio of Carolina BBQ, beer and cheese sauces.
The Mob Museum
The Mob Museum offers a bold and authentic view of organized crime from vintage Las Vegas to the back alleys of American cities and—increasingly—across the borders and networks of the entire world. Explore the real stories and actual events of Mob history through interactive exhibits and one-of-a-kind Mob and law enforcement artifacts found inside our restored 1933 former courthouse and post office building located just minutes from Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.
Take a journey through Prohibition with The Mob Museum’s new Distillery Tours that involves sampling a variety of distilled spirits. Participants will have the chance to explore The Underground, learn about Prohibition and its impact on a variety of liquor. During this 30-minute experience, participants will be educated on the historical origins of Prohibition and gain insights into the drinking culture that existed before the 1920s era.
