Lake Charles Regional Airport, also known as LCH, is the primary airport serving the Lake Charles area in the state of Louisiana.

Lake Charles Regional Airport offers service by two commercial airlines. American Airlines offers non-stop service to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and United Airlines offers non-stop service to the Houston Intercontinental Airport.

Airline Discounts

Two airlines service the Lake Charles area. We will be offering a discount on United Airlines.

 

United Airlines: We are pleased to partner with United Airlines for air travel to the US Sports Congress. To make flight reservations online please click on discount code ZN79464755.  MileagePlus members earn valuable miles for their travel when using the Meetings discount code. You may also call United Meetings Reservation Desk Monday – Friday at (800) 426-1122 for booking assistance.

American Airlines: Does not currently off group discounts.

Rights Holders: We respectfully ask that you use one of the airlines we have secured a discount on for your travel. You must use the discount  code to receive your reimbursement.

Shuttle/Car Rental

Lake Charles Regional Airport (LCH) is just 8.4 miles from the L'auberge Resort. Unfortunately, L'auberge does not offer shuttle service.

Like most large cities, Lake Charles offers reliable and affordable taxi service. You can find taxis at the airport in the center section of the lower level curbside (follow the Ground Transportation signs). Service runs from first flight departure to last flight arrival. Each listed operator offers wheelchair-accessible vehicles. 

There are four rental car agencies located on site. Rental car counters are located near the central entrance of the terminal building on the lower level.

Uber & Lyft

Pick-up for all app-based transportation network providers are located at the pre‐arranged sections of the Commercial Lane in front of the terminal on the Arrivals (lower) level.

Host Hotel

The host hotel for this years US Sports Congress will be the L'auberge Resort. 

Please note: All attendees are required to stay a the L'auberge Resort - our host hotel.

 

The specially negotiated rate for the US Sports Congress is: $139.00/night plus tax (based on double occupancy). If you are arriving before Sunday (12/3) you will need to call the hotel as rooms are only available on a limited basis. To make reservations simple click on the blue button above or call the hotel at 1-866-355-7111 and use the group code SUSSC23

Hotel Reservation Instructions:

1) on the USSC website, travel tab, click the blue box that says "Hotel Reservations Here." 

 

2) This should take you to the L'auberge booking portal. Make sure the dates of your stay are correct in the "Click for Arrival-Departure Date. If the dates are not correct, click on the calendar icon and select the correct dates.

 

3) Check the "Offer Code Box '' the code SUSC23 should  appear in this box. If any other code appears please click on the box and enter SUSC23.

 

4) Two room types should appear at the bottom of the page (King and 2 Queens). Click "book' on the room type you'd like to select.

 

5) Follow the choices through the rest of your booking.

BARS & NIGHTLIFE

You don't have to be nocturnal to enjoy the great shows and live music concerts and events that Southwest Louisiana has going on after hours-but it helps! Get things started early with happy hour. Then enjoy traditional Cajun and Zydeco music at the local dance halls and two-step the night away. Dance to Top 40 music and live bands at Cowboys. If you like your music with a bit more edge to it, Southwest Louisiana bars and pubs like Panorama Music HouseLuna Bar & Grill, and Rikenjaks, offer nightly live entertainment from local musicians as well as talent from around the region. 

 

SHOPPING

Grab your sunglasses, put on some comfortable shoes, and get ready to shop until you drop at some of the unique shopping venues in Southwest Louisiana. From specialty items in boutique stores to the vast selection of area malls and the treasures of the distant past, shopping in the lake area is an adventure for the young and the young at heart. Downtown Lake Charles has a plethora of boutique and antique shops to make a day out of browsing.
